“The beings on the planet, needed some inspirations;

To lead a worthy life ; devoid of malice, greed and temptations; Goddess and God decided to descend to earth and live like a common woman and man;

Like any other commoner, being a part of the human clan;

To show us the way to live through any tribulation;

Keeping intact the virtues & kindness-> without any moral compunction;

To live without any vice and be wise;

To pay tribute to others and be resolute to sacrifice;

They had gone back to their “abode” ages ago; but have left behind;

An account of how to live a righteous life; with a beautiful soul and mind;

This is the significance of the Ramayana , the most precious tome;

The revered epic is found in almost each and every home;

But we are missing the point; we don’t need to just read it; but rather comprehend;

Interpret it, analyse it and imbibe it ; it is a real godsend;

Times have always been turbulent; but one should always seek for the right;

Forgive, negotiate ; collaborate ; and to get justice ; even be ready to fight;

Practice the “dharma”, perform the “karma” and become the “divine”;

Cleanse your mind , and uphold integrity and righteousness to become a human very fine;

Then one day, you will find yourself as the person who you had always wanted to be;

And each one of us will then build the nation; that we had always pined to see;

Let us pray to Goddess Sita and God Rama, to help us achieve serenity and peace;

To practice mindfulness, find the soul within us and lead a life of eternal bliss;

To restore the faith, the propriety and moral virtues; needed to build a strong foundation;

To take inspiration from the Ram Rajya in Ayodhya; and rebuild our great nation.”
