Author, B.E; gold medallist MBA , 1972,of UBS Chandigarh, the fifth management school that was set up in India ; has recently transitioned from the corporate world as President. He has lifelong love for Ramayana from early age of 8 and has applied its principles not only in his family life but also during his management career spanning over 46 years. He practices deep meditation and has intricate knowledge of human psychology and the universal laws that govern us. Through this book he has demonstrated that Ramayana provides ample case studies to arrive at practically all basic management principles including management by objectives, executive excellence, motivation, communication, perception, legal environment, leadership and host of others. He firmly believes and has demonstrated through this book that Ramayana should be a part of not only our basic education but also our MBA courses.
It's important because it tells who we are. It's important because it sets us indias apart from the rest of the world, so that we don't have to look for an identity when we face the world. If Ramayana and Mahabharat were not there I am pretty sure the people of India would have been made to believe that they were barbarians before the foreigners came to the land and would never had taken any pride in being who they are.
