The book has been written in a clear and simple style.each chapter has a specific theme and lesson and the perspectives shared are both interesting and enlightening. The stories of Ramayana have been analysed and bring together the seemingly disparate, ancient and modern parts of our universe into one cohesive narative. In conclusion, a good read.

It's important because it tells who we are. It's important because it sets us indias apart from the rest of the world, so that we don't have to look for an identity when we face the world. If Ramayana and Mahabharat were not there I am pretty sure the people of India would have been made to believe that they were barbarians before the foreigners came to the land and would never had taken any pride in being who they are.
