Comment: While starting reading this book thought it will be another version of Ramayana in English . But I found it to be full of surprises . Author has made it appealing to the new generation by presenting Logic and thought process behind actions of each actor . I loved the way he has explained ' Why Hanuman's tail did not burn ' The seven stage thought process of Kaikayee before finally deciding to exile Rama is thought provoking . This book is a gift to new generation . It can turn an atheist in to a believer and a believer in to an action oriented person

It's important because it tells who we are. It's important because it sets us indias apart from the rest of the world, so that we don't have to look for an identity when we face the world. If Ramayana and Mahabharat were not there I am pretty sure the people of India would have been made to believe that they were barbarians before the foreigners came to the land and would never had taken any pride in being who they are.
